Occupational and Physical Therapy

Occupational and Physical Therapy

Occupational and Physical Therapist's role is to assist classroom teachers with developing adaptations and/or accommodations to improve a student's ability to participate in classroom routines (positioning, transfers, gross/fine motor skills, mobility,  toileting/handwashing, snack, etc.). The goal of both Occupational and Physical Therapy at Ruth Eason is to obtain each student's maximum level of functional independence to facilitate his/her access to the educational setting.
