Updates are scheduled for Fridays by 5 PM April through June when schools are open. Thereafter, updates are scheduled on an ad hoc basis throughout the summer. All communication will be conducted through the email entered at the time of application.
For rising grade 11 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme candidates, information about acceptances is coming soon.
Students may accept only ONE Magnet seat and still remain on a waitlist for another Magnet Program. The waitlists are disbanded in September 2022. After the waitlist is disbanded for applicants (school year 2022-2023), no further offers for IB MYP DP, PVA, or STEM will be made. Accepting a Magnet seat will automatically decline any other Magnet, Charter, or Virtual Academy seat offers.
Transportation: Bus stops will be consolidated and may not be located within ordinary walking distances. Almost all consolidated bus stops will be at local elementary schools, middle schools, or libraries. Parents/guardians will be required to transport students to the consolidated bus stop or to the Magnet School. (Exception: CAT North/CAT South students will be picked up from and returned to their home school within the regular school day). Applications will be accepted for Magnet Programs for entry in school year 2023-2024 between noon on Monday, October 10, 2022 and noon on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5th and 8th grade applicants (Fall, 2022).
