We believe that all students can learn, but at times, students need additional supports and opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of content knowledge and course-specific skills.
The "Opportunity for Mastery," portion of the AACPS Grading Regulation (also referred to as the "redo policy"), ensures that all secondary students (Grades 6-12) in all schools and all courses/programs have similar opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of course content and skills.
