Art Trek and Natural Connections Summer Enrichment Programs
Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the status of the 2020 Art Trek and Natural Connections camps. Keeping the health and safety of our students and staff members is our first and foremost priority. In light of this fact, the 2020 AACPS Art Trek Camp and Natural Connections Camp are cancelled.
- Tuition paid with Online School Payments – a refund will be processed and posted to your credit card used for payment. A 4% fee was added with payment through OSP. Only the cost of the camp will be refunded; the OSP fee is not refundable.
Due to the large volume of refunds being processed associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, credit card companies may take up to 30 days to process refunds to the customer account.
- For tuition paid by deposited check, we are processing refunds now. You can expect to see payment within two weeks.
- For tuition paid by checks that have not yet been deposited, we will be mailing those back to you via USPS within the next week.
We appreciate your support for visual arts education and hope to see you next summer!

Visual Arts Program
The Visual Arts Program at Anne Arundel County Public Schools provides a curriculum to challenge students to think about and respond to themselves and their world of experiences in creative and innovative ways.
Through sequential experiences, students are offered opportunities to develop and demonstrate cognitive and artistic growth, and to advance according to identified expectancies at different instructional levels.
Curriculum has been developed to encourage critical and analytical thinking and to develop 21st Century skills that make connections to both the student's own life and other Common Core subject areas. The visual arts curriculum encourages divergent thinking and creative exploration, which helps students make sense of our increasingly visual world.
