• Community Radio

  • CRAB Radio stands for Community Radio for Arts and the Bay.  CRAB Radio is a low power FM station reaching from the north shores of the South River in Edgewater, MD to the south shores of the Magothy River in Pasadena, MD.  The listening area includes the cities of Annapolis, Arnold, Crownsville, Edgewater, Severna Park, and much of Pasadena, Maryland.  The programming for the station will be focused on arts and environmental issues related to the Baltimore-Washington areas located along the mighty Chesapeake Bay.  While the geographic area residents are important, we believe there will be listeners from far and wide who find the topics we cover of interest to them; those living outside the region will be able to listen via the Internet.

Students and community members from across Anne Arundel County will be responsible for producing much of CRAB Radio's programming. Other contributors include K-12 students from across the state of Maryland through a partnership we have with the Fine Arts Department of the Maryland State Department of Education.
