Annapolis Elementary is an innovative school in a traditional setting. Although our building, over one hundred years old, is the oldest public school in the state, it is completely renovated as of 2014! The facilities are state of the art and gorgeous! It is not out of place in the city's historic district. The state capital building, Naval Academy, city dock, museums, and many historic sites are within walking distance from the school.
Our diverse school population of approximately 240 students is drawn from three nearby communities: the North Severn River U.S. Naval Support Station, Historic Clay Street, and Historic Downtown. We are fortunate to have active, supportive families from each of these communities.
