Hilltop Elementary School
AACPS Strategic Plan Progress

All AACPS schools are on a journey guided by our 2018-2023 Strategic Plan’s Driving Values to elevate all students and eliminate all gaps. As unique as the students who fill our classrooms, each school’s journey is distinct as well. Based upon the nature of individual school’s story, each school has intentionally selected Indicators from the Driving Values of our AACPS Strategic Plan. These Indicators frame the work each school will complete to create the environments and opportunities to engage and encourage students to achieve and excel.

Value II: Ready, Set, Launch!

3 Driving Values (“Values”) guide our work for the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan. The result of two years of community-based town hall and focus group meetings, our driving values represent the areas of focus our stakeholders believed were most important for our school district to embrace.

17 Indicators of Success (“Indicators”)
are measures of student progress, with the expectation that all students will grow each school year relative to their individual performance. Baseline data refers to the information or scores from the 2017-18 school year, considered to be the starting point from which growth will occur.
