• Here are some common troubleshooting tips to try if your school issued Chromebook is not working properly.

     

     

    Updating Chromebook:

    Chromebook Power:

    If device is not powering on, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds and check the LED light on the left side of the device (next to the charging port). If it is not lighting up, plug into a charger and repeat the process.

    If you did not receive a school issued device, please contact the Virtual Academy main office at 410-544-1082.

     

    Chromebook Care:

    • When done for the day, power off the device and allow it to charge overnight.
    • If you are using headphones, unplug and store safely to prevent breakage.
    • Do not eat food or drink over the device to prevent damage.
    • Do not peel the identifying stickers off of the device (top or bottom).
