School Bus Schedules & Information

  • School Bus

  • To communicate impacts to bus routes due to the ongoing bus driver shortage, Anne Arundel County Public Schools disseminates multiple messages to families at impacted schools.

It is critical that families have accurate contact information (home phone numbers, cell phone numbers, and email addresses) on file at their student’s school. Contact information for the messaging system is obtained directly from the student information system. Families who need to update their student’s information should contact their student’s school. Impacted bus routes and associated schools are listed through the link above on this page. The list includes the bus number; impacted schools; whether the impact is in the morning, afternoon, or both; and the specific impact; This list is updated nightly, multiple times each morning, and each afternoon during the week. Messaging from the AACPS Communications Office is sent as follows:

    • EVENING PRECEDING SCHOOL DAYS: Emails and text messages are sent at approximately 8 p.m. to families of students at any school where a contractor has reported an impacted bus route for the following morning. • AFTERNOON OF SCHOOL DAYS: Emails and text messages are sent between noon and 12:30 p.m. to families of students at any school where a contractor has reported an impacted bus route for afternoon bus runs. In addition to the above, individual schools are notified of bus delays that occur during the dismissal time frame and may send separate messages to families independent of messages sent by the AACPS Communications Office.
