1/3/22 HOW ARE WE DOING WITH BUSING AND MEETING STUDENTS’ BUSING NEEDS AS OF JANUARY 2022?
As reported over the past several months, the demand for school bus drivers is high. We have been and continue to work with our school bus contractors and AACC to train and hire additional licensed school bus drivers. Many newly licensed bus drivers have been hired over the past three months. However, there are some bus routes without drivers due to employment vacancies and driver sickness.
Please visit our bus transportation link www.aacps.org/buses where we post all the bus routes where transportation is impacted daily.

CDC guidelines must be adhered to in all environments, this includes while students are riding the bus. Seat assignments will be made and all riders will be expected to wear a mask. Social distancing will be in place to the extent possible; this will be based on ridership. As we did this past spring during hybrid learning, we will be allowing full student ridership again on our buses this fall.
