During this time away from school, our hope is for you to remain safe and healthy.
We thank you so much for supporting your student during their time away from brick & mortar school. We are now in Week Two of our eLearning and we know there are many things to celebrate and a few changes to be made. We are listening to students and families as you provide us feedback on all aspects of eLearning and we are making changes slowly, but surely.
Your student’s teacher has posted office hours and learning support time in their Google Classrooms. Teachers are available during these time blocks to assist your student with planning, understanding, and successfully completing their assignments. Please remember, there is only one assignment per subject area that is graded per week. The other assignments are important, but they do not contribute to the student’s course grade.
Later this week we will post a Technology Support and How-To website that will offer solutions and directions to challenges to the most frequent challenges families are having when attempting to access and navigate the many applications and programs used by teachers within Google Classroom. We know this page will relieve some of the stress that is coming from the use of technology in the learning environment.
Additionally, we have provided Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) to answer the most commonly asked questions about online learning and your student. These FAQs are updated daily.
