    AACPS Annual Family Involvement Conference

Anne Arundel County Public Schools' Annual Family Involvement Conference will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD.  The theme of this year's conference is All Means All: Embracing Learning Through Our Diversity

    Interpretation & Translation Office:
Back to school is a busy time for our Interpretation & Translation Office. Our Interpretation/Translation Technicians support our schools by coordinating the placement of foreign language interpreters for Pre-K, ECI and Kindergarten Conferences, Back to School Nights, and Parent/Teacher Conferences for elementary, middle and high schools. Over 100 interpreters are placed in schools for the Parent/Teacher Conferences alone. Throughout the school year, interpreters are also provided for PTA meetings, new student registration and orientation, Title I Meetings, 504 Meetings, and special AACPS Board Meetings.

Additionally, throughout the school year, the Interpretation & Translation Office translates AACPS system-wide communications into Spanish for use by all AACPS schools, departments, and offices.

Our Strategic Plan is grounded in the belief that our school district will become a place where all feel welcome, valued and supported as we learn and work together toward achieving student success.
