Meade High Parents/Guardians/Students/Visitors
Meade High is closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 School Year. All scheduled events per the Board of Education have been cancelled. Please make sure to monitor special newcasts from Governor Hogan, Connect Eds from Mr. Bob Mosier, AACPS main page and this site so we can keep you as up to date as possible. Our custodial staff has done an incredible job disinfecting our facility for the eventual return to normalcy. Thank you for your patience and attention to our concern for all who visit.
Please be safe and we will see you soon.
Food Delivery to School
Lately we have had a lot of ordering by students from Grub Hub and Door Dash for lunch. Please speak with your student, letting them know that we do not allow outside food delivery to students during school hours for safety/security reasons. if a parent is in agreement and would like to refuse the food, we will take care of informing the delivery company to return the unpaid food. If it is paid for, it is held in the main office until the end of the day. Again this is done for the safety/security of your student.
Please assist us and speak with your student about the safety/security issues, they should not have outside food brought into the building.
Meade High Entry Vestibules now operating
Parents/Guardians/Visitors to Meade High
As many of our visitors have already noticed, the Board of Education has built vestibules at both entrances into Meade High. These were built as a safety measure at schools to keep our Mustang Family safe. Adults are to check in as they enter the outer doors with Government/State issued identification which should be carried at all times you visit schools. Once you are scanned in, you will be directed to either a visitor waiting area or Attendance in the Main Office.
If you are waiting in the waiting room, someone will escort you to your meeting. Please make sure you stay in the waiting area until your are escorted.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation with our new procedure/policy as we continue to strive to keep our Mustang Family/Visitors safe.
