2021-2022 Advisory Topics

  • In addition to offering members an opportunity to discuss general ideas or concerns, each advisory meeting will focus on one topic that is timely to the school system. Click on a heading below to see information and guiding questions related to this year's topic.

Feel free to discuss the following questions with teachers in your schools and bring back their thoughts, concerns, and ideas for discussion at our October 11, 2021 Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory meeting.

    Questions to be considered:

    • What are the greatest challenges that teachers are experiencing personally and professionally as we returned to in-person learning this fall?
    • What are some of the greatest successes and challenges that teachers are having as they try to nurture and sustain new teacher-student and student-student relationships?
    • What are some of the greatest successes and challenges that teachers are having engaging students in everyday in-person learning?
