    PYP Updates:

This school year, we begin the Self-study process!  It is an exciting time for our school to grow as a IB PYP school. Our school's evaluation visit is scheduled for October 2022.  The evaluation team will assess our school's growth of the IB Standards and Practices for us to continue a success IB PYP programme.

    The IB Mission:

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

    The  Waugh Chapel Vision:

At Waugh Chapel Elementary we strive to develop world class scholars and first class citizens who have the skills and attitudes to enable them to become compassionate life-long learners who will contribute positively to the future of our world.
