Tracey's Elementary School became an International Baccalaureate World school in August 2018 and is officially authorized to offer the IB’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) to students in kindergarten through Grade 5. The school demonstrates its commitment to the PYP and continues to develop the required standards and practices, beliefs and values by using an action plan to ensure ongoing development of the program. Tracey's will prepare for their second IB evaluation after the year 2021, at which time the school will engage in a self study; a key element in the school's goal of sustained improvement.
Students at Tracey's Elementary school are involved in a variety of community outreach programs including Harvest for the Hungry, Heavenly Hats, Pennies for Patients, and Tracey’s Giving Tree. In addition, school events such as the Fall Festival, music concerts, art gallery, PBIS events and field trips occur quarterly.
