IB PYP at Jacobsville Elementary School
The IB Mission:
The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
Jacobsville Elementary School is a community committed to fostering the emotional, social, and academic growth of its student inquirers. We collaborate with students, parents, and community members to nurture students’ curiosities and passions while preparing them to care for our planet as contributing citizens of an increasingly diverse world.
Jacobsville Elementary School will be filled with inquiring students who advocate for themselves and others on a journey of lifelong learning. Through action and reflection, personal connections, and caring relationships, we will strive to make ourselves and our world continuously better.
