Annapolis High School IB Diploma Class Offerings
The Diploma Programme (DP) curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the DP core, comprising theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay (EE). Students will select one course from each of the 6 subject areas. Subject 6 may be a second science rather than one of the listed offerings. Students must select a maximum of 3 / minimum of 2 SL courses and a maximum of 4 / minimum of 3 HL classes. HL classes are 240 hours of instruction and are taught over 2 years. SL courses are 150 hours of instruction and with the exception of Environmental Systems and Socieities and World Religions are taught over a 2 year period. The IB diploma is awarded to students who gain at least 24 points, subject to certain minimum levels of performance across the whole program and to satisfactory participation in the creativity, action, service (CAS) requirement. The highest total that a Diploma Program student can be awarded is 45 points.

- At Annapolis High School students are required to take History as their subject 3 course

- Physics HL
- Sports, Exercise and Health Medicine HL/SL (NEW offering)
Subject 5: Math
