• School Supplies

As you know, Corkran is an AVID National Demonstration School, and we utilize binders to help our students organize their learning.

We are pleased to announce that we are able to provide a binder to every student at Corkran! We have enough materials to provide every Cardinal with:

    • One 3-inch binder

    • Pencil pouch

    • Loose leaf

    • Dividers

    • 1 set of pencils to start the year

You do not have to worry about getting your child the basic supplies to start the year. We encourage all students to utilize the binder and materials we provide, but we know that some students may want a specific binder. We will spend the first few days of school setting up and organizing our binders, so even if a student arrives with their own materials, we’ll be able to get them set up the Corkran way.

Students should not need any additional school supplies to start the year.

Optional supplies you can consider purchasing for your student include

    • Additional #2 Pencils

    • Colored Pencils

    • Pens

    • Handheld erasers and/or eraser caps

As a reminder, students do not need to carry

    • Markers

    • Highlighters

    • Scissors

    • Glue Sticks

When completing a project or assignment that requires any of those materials, teachers will be able to provide those supplies.

As a reminder, no student should ever carry a Sharpie or other type or permanent or paint marker. These items will be confiscated.

We know our Cardinal Community is incredibly supportive of our school, and we always welcome donations. Please reach out to Ms. Morrison in the front office or Ms. Shaw in counseling  if you’d like to donate some additional school supplies.

We could always use additional hand sanitizer, tissues, colored pencils, markers, and construction paper, to name a few things.

We also are always in need of new or gently used sneakers to lend students for PE.

If you are in need of a backpack or any additional supplies not listed above, please contact Ms. Shaw or any member of our counseling team.
