Brenton Meade, Rising Senior, Broadneck High School

My name is Brenton Meade (he/him/his), I am a rising senior at Broadneck High School, and I have the honor of serving as your CRASC President for this school year. I am a student in the Apex Arts magnet program where I am a piano major. In addition, I am a State Legislative Affairs Coordinator (SLACer) for the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC). In my free time, I enjoy trying new foods, spending time with family, and composing. I joined CRASC as a 6th grader at MacArthur Middle School in the IB program and worked my way through the ranks in various appointed positions and one elected position: Middle School Coordinator. CRASC has given me so many opportunities to represent the student body and better our county through the Mental Health Task Force and Let’s Talk Justice, and I hope to use my platform to pay it forward.

Over the course of my second term, I will implement my new initiative, CRASC Connects, which I hope will expand CRASC’s outreach to every student and ensure that students are directly getting the information and support they need to advocate for themselves. I hope that this new initiative will increase coordination between CRASC and SGAs, promote good communication with the student body, and cultivate the next generation of student leaders.

If you’re interested in being a part of CRASC’s new initiative, fill out this Google Form! It is anonymous if you would like to be.
