Jaden Farris, South River High School, Rising Junior
Hey, Hey AACPS!!
My name is Jaden Farris(he/him), and I am a junior in the AP Capstone Diploma Program at South River High School! It is an honor to serve as YOUR CRASC Vice President! I am originally from Allegany County, Maryland up in the western part of our state, and I lived there for a little over 13 and a half years. I have been involved in student council since 7th grade! I joined CRASC at the start of the 2020-2021 school year, where I first ran for Secretary of Legislation. While unsuccessful, I stayed involved and served on the CRASC Executive Team as an Equity Liaison. I serve on various other organizations within AACPS and our county. I am a part of the Let’s Talk Justice Planning Committee for the past year, my school’s SGA Vice President, a volunteer for the non-profit Kindness Grows Here, and have volunteered on various political campaigns for since 2018. A little bit of fun facts about me: I love reading— preferably non-fiction, researching random stuff, and learning about local history. My overall goal for this year is to promote unity and advocate for equitable outcomes for ALL students. I cannot wait to get to work and advocate for YOU!
