  • Q: How are libraries partnering with AACPS?

    A:  All students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools have access to the SAIL (Student Access to Improved Learning) with their local library.  For more information click on this link https://www.aacpl.net/sail

    The following libraries are supporting the #AACPSReadWithMe and #AACPSPowerUpRead Challenge by hosting a closing celebration the first Saturday in Februrary from 10:00-11:00 am at the Odenton Regional Library, Glen Burnie Regional Library, and the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Branch Library.

  • Q: How does the Office of Equity celebrate diversity and promote equitable practices?

    A:  There is an Equity Lead in every AACPS school and center who receive professional development four times a year. These leads are charged with delivering the professional learning at each of the four two-hour early dismissal days for all faculty and staff in each building. Topics include: Implicit Bias, Culturally Responsive Teaching, and All Means All.
