The PVA Creative Writing and Drama Program develops students as creative artists through the art of theatre and the written and spoken word. Students gain insight and appreciation of the works of the masters and continually develop their personal voice. Craft is developed through exploration of diverse genres, study of various authors and the development of multidisciplinary work. Finally, students learn to respond to the work of others through constructive critique, gain an awareness of self and build a creative community.  Through field trips and professional artist experiences, students develop artistic voice, process of critique, and overall appreciation.
