Principal’s Message

Welcome to Tracey’s Elementary School! I am extremely honored to continue to serve the students, families and community as the principal of such an awesome school. I look forward to working with the entire community throughout the year.

The staff at Tracey’s Elementary is a talented and dedicated group of professional educators that will encourage, challenge, and support all of our students. This year we will continue our journey to becoming an International Baccalaureate - Primary Years Programme (PYP) School as we enter our candidacy phase. This means that our teachers will deliver and reflect on lessons that address grade level appropriate College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) within the PYP framework. As part of the PYP program our students will also participate in a World Cultures and Language (Spanish) class. We will continue to offer the Advanced Learners program (ALPS) in grades 2-5 for Reading and Math.

I believe that parent involvement is an important part of our students’ success. I encourage you to be involved in your child’s education whether it is monitoring their homework, volunteering in the school, joining the PTA, attending the many school events or reading with your child. We are fortunate to have a very active PTA that works with the school to provide a wide variety of enrichment activities to all our students. Please support their efforts by joining the PTA. Consider volunteering, too. There is always plenty to do.

I would like to wish all our students and families a wonderful and productive year as we work together to instill a love of learning in all our students. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to call or email me. My door is always open. Together, Tracey's Elementary is "Where Awesome Begins!"
