About Our School

  • Sunset Elementary serves over 500 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Five. Located off the scenic Chesapeake Bay our school rests along the Stoney Creek in Pasadena, MD. Sunset is one of 79 elementary schools in the Anne Arundel County Public School system. We hope you will find items of interest here.

    Sunset Elementary Is dedicated to meeting the needs of all learners in a safe environment, we strive to give each child the opportunity to inquire and succeed, as open-minded and globally aware life-long learners.

  • Attendance Procedure:

    Send in a written note when your child returns to school to be forwarded to the office within 3 days.  Alternately, you may now submit attendance notes on the Parent Portal!
