Welcome to the Richard Henry Lee Elementary School homepage. Our school is located in the heart of old Glen Burnie, Maryland. One of 79 Elementary Schools in Anne Arundel County, Richard Henry Lee has been serving the Glen Burnie community since 1929.
With a current enrollment of 540, we remain committed to meeting the needs of all students. To that end, Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Richard Henry Lee have established goals in the areas of Academic Achievement, Safe and Supportive Learning Environment, and Community Engagement. Richard Henry Lee is an Early Childhood Professional Development School (PDS). This is a collaborative effort with Towson University and unites our school with student interns nearing completion of their teaching degrees. This mutually beneficial relationship effectively reduces the student/teacher ratio for several of our classes while providing real world experience for our interns.
