Entrance to the School During the School Day
In order to ensure the safety and security of all of our students and staff members, all visitors to the school must enter the school from the main entrance. Visitors will alert office staff of their presence by pressing the button on the wall to the right of the front entrance After ensuring that visitors have legitimate school business, visitors will be electronically admitted in the front door. You will hear a clicking noise that indicates the door is open. You may also be directed to open the door by office staff members through an intercom device.
Upon entrance into the building please report to the main office to obtain a visitors pass. Please remember to bring your driver’s license into the school as it will be needed to create your visitor’s pass. The information obtained from a scan of a driver’s license allows us to scan law enforcement databases to ensure that visitors do not present a safety concern for our students. Once approved for entry a visitor’s pass is printed out which must be worn at all times while in the school building.
