Principal's Updates

Welcome to Oakwood Elementary School. My name is Kai Cunningham and I would like to extend a warm welcome to you as your Principal. I am excited to be back at Oakwood! Our theme for the 2022-2023 school year is On Our Destination of Learning. We are a PBIS School and our goal is to Be Kind, Be Cooperative, Be Prepared,and  Be Safe.
Oakwood is a wonderful school with many opportunities for your child(ren) to meet with success. Along with strong academic and social emotional programs, we strive to build strong relationships to support and develop the whole child.

Oakwood has a very active and supportive PTA that goes above and beyond to provide and support experiences by planning new and creative events that unite our school community. Please consider partnering with us by volunteering and/or becoming a member. We are always looking for new members!
