    • Sponsors Cultural Enrichment Programs
    • Provides financial support for extra supplies in the classrooms and school assembly programs.
    • Coordinates and supports the Book Fair, Social in the Park, Movie Night, 5th Grade Promotion, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, Butterfly Ball, Spring into Fitness 5K, Mother/Son Event, Field Day, and so much more!!

We're always looking for new ways to support our Belvedere community!

Why Should I Join the PTA?

For your children, of course! Research shows that getting involved in your child's education helps your child succeed at school. A terrific way to stay connected with Belvedere is by joining the PTA. PTA members share opinions and information with other parents, teachers, and the administration. We are part of a strong voice speaking for our children's education. Our goal is to have 100% of our families, teachers, and staff join the PTA.  We hope you will help us meet our goal!!

Time Commitment - That is up to you! If you are concerned that joinging the PTA will stretch your already-chaotic schedules, Don't worry, meetings are held once a month and seldom last beyond an hour. PTA members are encouraged but not required to attend. We treasure our volunteers, but we will never ask our members for more time than they are willing to give. Meaningful PTA involvement does not have to be time consuming. If you have no extra time to give, you can help by donating supplies of one of our many school activities, providing ideas for new programs, etc.

Dues - PTA dues are $15 a year for families and $10 for teachers and staff. A small portion of those proceeds go to the National and State PTA, but most of the dues support  Belvedere Elementary activities.

The PTA encourages ideas from Belvedere parents, teachers, and staff on how we can better meet the needs of the children and the Belvedere Community.
