  • ABSENTEE NOTES

    Posted by:

When a student is absent from school, the parent or guardian is asked to send a note with the student the day the student returns to school. The note should contain the following information:
    · student’s first and last name
    · date of absence
    · reason for absence
    · signature of parent / guardian

**Absent/Tardy form can be found on the school website.
If a student does not bring an absentee note, the absence will be considered unexcused. If a student is absent more than 5 consecutive days, a doctor’s note is required. Students risk not being able to make up the work if the absence is considered unexcused. If you know the student will be out for an extended time please call the Office of School Counseling to let the counselor know.
