Hello families and welcome to the Ruth Parker Eason School webpage! Our school provides specialized instruction for students aged 3 through 21 years of age with moderate to significant disabilities. Early childhood and school aged students are placed at Ruth Parker Eason school through the special education process, with support of the AACPS Special Education Department. We also have a co-taught PreK classroom, providing an inclusive preschool experience for 4-year olds.
With a heavy focus on communication, students engage in all academic content areas with modified learning standards. This year, our instructional focus will to address Written Language. Students in all grade levels will have increased exposure to emergent writing and shared writing tasks each day.
