Welcome to Central Special!!

We believe that Central Special School is a safe and nurturing environment that provides all students with an individualized instructional program consisting of developmental, academic, and functional life skills. Our school community supports this by establishing alliances between the home, school, and community in order to teach socially appropriate behavior, communication skills and independence.

As a school community we strive to provide students with a variety of opportunities academically and socially including participating in the All County Dance Festivals, Unified Sports, Best Buddies, Cool Schools Plunge, field trips to Arlington Echo and in-school assemblies.

We strive daily to ensure that each student is provided with the academic, social and behavior instruction which will allow them to be active members in our school community.
