• What is Changemaking and Who are Changemakers??

Changemaking is part of the social innovation movement where people/students work in creative teams to make a lasting impact locally and/or globally by taking action.  A Changemaker is someone who can be innovative and creatively think about a social problem then translate those ideas and solutions into real-authentic opportunities.

Through changemaking students will develop skills in empathy, sophisticated team work, creative problem-solving and collaborative leadership. ALL STEM students will actively participate in a year-long Changemaker Capstone project during their 8th grade tenure.
