Center of Applied Technology HVAC Instructor, Charles Whittaker, has been named the 2021-2022 Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year.
Whittaker, a career changer and 14-year veteran teacher at the Center of Applied Technology North, is the first career technology teacher to be named the Teacher of the Year.

Meade High School Chinese Language Teacher Jing Dai was named a finalist for the 2021-2022 Maryland Teacher of the Year by the Maryland State Department of Education. Read the news release here.
2020-2021 Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year

Meade High School Chinese teacher Jing Dai has been named the 2020-2021 Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year.
Dai, a nine-year teaching veteran who has spent her entire AACPS career at Meade High School, is the second Meade High School teacher to win the award since its inception in 1986-87.
