Do you like working with young children? Do you believe in the importance of literacy and academic support at an early age? Well, the AACPS Senior-Senior Corps may be just the program for you! This program, which will be implemented at Lothian, Hebron-Harman, and Lothian elementary schools this Fall, will allow Senior Citizen volunteers -- and senior student volunteers -- to serve as academic supports and mentors to the youngest of our learners (grades K-2). For more information, please review the info-flyer below and/or contact Jasmine Coleman at 410-266-3426 or Lori Fowler at email@example.com or 410-222-5336.
Below are some links to videos of Guided Reading in our county. Participants in the Senior-Senior Corps will be working on literacy development with our students.
