AACPS students in grade 5-12 have an opportunity to build, modify, maneuver, and use an underwater ROV with teammates.  Students in Grade 5 bring ROVS to the United States Naval Academy in June for an Expo of work.

Secondary students compete with underwater ROVS from all over the State at Regionals at the United States Naval Academy and go on to compete in the International SeaPerch competition at INTERNATIONALS at the University of Maryland's hydro-lab.

SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program that equips teachers and students with the resources they need to build an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in an in-school or out-of-school setting.
