    Elementary Summer Academy

    The Elementary Summer Academy program is designed for students currently in Grades K-5 who wish to maintain their reading and math skills throughout the summer in a relaxed, positive setting. Tuition is $250 per student. Tuition Reduction is available for qualified students. Please note that transportation is not provided. This year’s sites are:

    The Elementary Summer Academy will run July 9-August 2, 2018. Classes meet Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am-12:15 pm.

    Registration is currently closed and will open mid-April 2018.

STEM Summer Camp

  • Fun Summer Camp for Students Entering Kindergarten Through 6th Grade

    Camp Invention is the only nationally recognized, non-profit summer enrichment program for kindergartners through 6th graders that is inspired by the brightest thinkers around- the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Children are empowered to have big ideas while they take on challenges that inspire them to question, brainstorm, collaborate with teammates, and build amazing invention prototypes. Summer Meals/Food Program

  •  Summer Meals for Kids - food that's in when school is out AACPS provides free breakfast and lunch to children ages 2-18 during the summer as part of the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program. There are no income or registration requirements. COME AND ENJOY A HEALTHY MEAL!

Secondary Summer School - July 5 - August 7, 2018

  • The secondary summer school program offers students a limited number of secondary school courses and provides students the opportunity to:

    • make up work in which they were unsuccessful
    • improve grade averages in sequential subjects
    • earn credits to meet high school graduation requirements
