Anne Arundel County Public Schools, in accordance with Board Policy DDH, has developed a procedure, known as Stack & Pack, for the removal of textbooks that are no longer used in schools. Materials may be discarded when they no longer meet curricular needs and/or standards and are replaced with new adoptions. These materials are collected at the end of the school year to be sold or recycled. Funds received from the resale of textbooks will be deposited back into the Curriculum Aligned Materials program account to purchase new curriculum-aligned resources.
