Post-Secondary Education

  • Students with disabilities who are planning to take the PSAT, SAT, ACT, or AP exams must apply to the College Board (AP, PSAT, SAT) or ACT for approval to test with accommodations. The College Board and ACT are committed to providing a broad range of accommodations to eligible students with documented disabilities. Even with a current IEP or 504 Plan students must apply for approval to test with accommodations.

Both the College Board and ACT require parental permission to submit an application to request approval to test with accommodations. Parents should contact the school Section 504 Facilitator or their child’s Counselor to inquire about the application process.
