Behavioral Support Programs


  • Alternatives to Drugs Program (ADP)

     

    The Alternatives to Drugs Program (ADP) is a mandatory consequence for violation of Board of Education of Anne Arundel County Policy JCC – Student Conduct and Administrative Regulation JCC-RAC– Alcoholic Beverages, Controlled Dangerous Substances, or Other Intoxicants. Students who are suspended for alcohol or other drug offenses are required to participate in this program with their parents or guardians.

     

    Anti-Tobacco Use Program (ATUP)

     

    The Anti-Tobacco Use Program (ATUP) is a mandatory consequence for violation of Board of Education of Anne Arundel County Policy JCC–Student Conduct and Administrative Regulation JCC-RAB–Use or Possession of Tobacco by Students, which prohibits the sale, use, or possession of tobacco in any form by students at all times on all school property and at any school-sponsored activity. Students and their parents or guardians are required to participate.

     

    Responsible Actions Program (RAP)

     

    The Responsible Actions Program (RAP) is a mandatory consequence for violation of Board of Education of Anne Arundel County Policy JCC–Student Conduct and accompanying Administrative Regulations. Students and their parents or guardians are required to participate.

     

    Bias Behavior & Language Program (BBLP)

     

    The Bias Behavior & Language Program (BBLP) is a mandatory consequence for violation of Board of Education of Anne Arundel County Policy JO–Bias Behavior and Language and accompanying Administrative Regulation JO-RA Bias  Behavior and Language, which prohibits student engagement in bias behavior or language on AACPS property, on a school bus, at school-sponsored activities, or in any manner that substantially disrupts the orderly operation of a school regardless of where the incident occurs. Students and their parents or guardians are required to participate.
