2020-2021 School Year Calendar Survey
Legislation enacted by the General Assembly last year has removed constraints on the start and end of the school year. Consequently, local school systems can construct their own school year calendars, provided those calendars meet the state requirements on holidays and the minimum number of instructional hours (1,080) and days (180).

Members of the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County have constructed this survey of parents, students, employees and community members to gauge their thoughts about future calendars. Data collected from this survey will be used by the Superintendent of Schools and the AACPS Calendar Committee in their development of a recommended 2020-2021 School Year calendar. This survey can be taken only once from a given device.
