 Supplemental Services - SES

We currently do not have any Title I schools who are in school improvement for the 2011-2012 school year. Therefore, we are not offering supplemental educational services at this time.

Should any Title I school be in School Improvement status in the future, we will offer SES again. Please check this website or call the Title I office periodically for SES updates.

Supplemental services are additional academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of students in low-performing schools.  They must be provided outside of the regular school day and must be focused on increasing student achievement.

Signing up your child for tutoring services through SES

If you have received notice from your child’s school that the school has been identified for school improvement, you should have also received information on Title I offering supplemental services.

You must then complete a SES registration form provided by your school or through the Title I Office in the fall with the vendor of your choice.  You will be notified by mail, as to which SES vendor will be servicing your child in math, reading, or both subject areas, the location of services, the days and times of services, and the tutor’s name and contact information.
