On December 5, 2007, the Anne
Arundel County Public Schools Board of Education approved the new five-year
strategic plan. The plan contains 5 main
categories, with equity infused in each of the goals. Parity is expected for all
students in academic achievement, discipline sanctions, and intervention and
special education identification and placement.
The goals, targets and
indicators set forth in this plan have been carefully designed to propel Anne
Arundel County Public Schools to prominence in the state of Maryland and allow
our stakeholders to monitor our progress toward that overarching goal.
