Completed Board application must be
received by the Commission by close of business on Aril 1,
2008.
Applications may be sent by regular
mail, electronic mail, or submitted in person. |
Applicants are encouraged to submit
completed applications prior to April 1 if doing so would
enable them to meet the April 1 deadline because of prior
commitments that may otherwise impact their ability to
submit the completed application on time.
The Commission will treat any and all
applications received after April 1 as ineligible for
consideration. |

April 14, 2008 |
First Public Hearing at which Board
applicants will be subject to questioning by the full
Commission. |
Applicants will be allowed to give a
five minute opening statement followed by questioning from
the Commission. Applicants may submit written testimony of
no more than fifteen pages (doubled spaced on 8 ½ by 11
paper in 12 point font) to the Commission by April 10, which
will become part of the hearing record. |

April 28, 2008 |
Second Public Hearing at which
proponents and opponents of Board applicants may offer
testimony to the Commission. |
Members of the general public,
excluding Board applicants, will be allowed to offer
testimony for or against a particular Board applicant. The
testimony will be limited to five minutes. The testimony
will be made a part of the public hearing record. |

May 5, 2008 |
Commission meets in public session to
deliberate and vote on Board applicants to recommend to the
Governor. |
The Commission will not receive
testimony from the general public at this session. The
Commission will vote to approve or disapprove of Board
applicants for recommendation to the Governor in accordance
with its by-laws. |

May 12, 2008 |
Commission formally transmits names to
the Governor. |
