On September 6, 2005, the Board of Education, Superintendent, & County Organizations gathered for the historic signing of this agreement.  The express intent of the parties to this MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) is to establish goals for the improvement of educational and academic attainment among African American students in order to reach parity with other students in the AACPS school system.
