The International Student Office (ISO) acts as the first point of contact for immigrating students entering Anne Arundel County Public Schools.  Students coming from overseas into AACPS will register through the ISO where they will be screened in English and math skills and be placed appropriately into county schools and programs.  The registration process includes a review of registration documents, immunizations and prior schooling, including transcript evaluations at the high school level. 

In addition to facilitating the registration process, the ISO also maintains an extensive repository of community resources for immigrant families and aids in directing families to appropriate community organizations.
