Middle school students have opportunities within their
classroom to develop their potential talents and to help them
prepare for academic challenge.
Pre-AP/AP strategies to engage students and prepare them
for advanced secondary courses such as Advanced Placement or
International Baccalaureate.
Gifted/talented accommodations specified in content
areas, including Touchstones®and William and Mary units
in language arts and math courses for high school credit such as
Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.
Opportunities to develop potential in the area of music,
visual and performing arts

Office of Advanced Studies and Programs which may appeal to
special interests and academic strengths of advanced/high potential learners.
