Advanced Studies and Programs – AP and College Preparation Opportunities

High School:  Advanced Studies

“High school students have the opportunity to increase the rigor of their curriculum by enrolling in Honors or Advanced Placement classes.  Every ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade student in Anne Arundel County Public Schools takes the PSAT/NMSQT.  Results identify student readiness for these courses and provide teachers with a profile of specific student skills to be addressed when planning instruction.”
