Charter Schools at AACPS
Title 9 - The Maryland
Public Charter School Program, provides for public
charter schools in Maryland. The Board of Education
of Anne Arundel County adopted a public charter
schools policy in October 2003 and revised the
policy in May of 2010. A regulation was also established in 2010.
Monarch Annapolis enrollment is now open for
students who live within the attendance boundaries
of the nine elementary schools in the Annapolis
cluster: Annapolis, Eastport, Georgetown East,
Germantown, Hillsmere, Mills-Parole, Rolling Knolls,
Tyler Heights, and West Annapolis.
