The calendar also recognizes legal holidays, maintains the weeklong Easter/Spring break, and includes four additional early dismissal days for students to allow for focused staff professional development.

For the second consecutive year, the Board also examined and tentatively approved a calendar for the 2014-2015 school year, allowing parents to begin to plan spring and summer vacations and set other appointments a full year in advance. The Board will give final approval to the 2014-2015 calendar during the next school year.
